7-Color Channel Display : The SR-497HPC features a 7-Color channel display (Stryker Exclusive). This is a quite unique feature in SR-497HPC. Now you can set your frequency display in 7 different colors of your own choice. This feature enhanced the design and beauty of 10 meter radio.
Brilliant 7-Color LED Backlit Face Plate : Now you can choose from 7 different colors from just pushing a button manually or you can let the CPU controller scan from all of the colors automatically. Our high-class face plate design provides an operator with back lighted controls, this makes an adjustment even in the darkest conditions quite easily. Despite the fact, our design is highly durable and the lights can also be dimmed using the dimmer/color button which is on the front panel of the radio.
High Power : The SR-497HPC uses six IRF-520 MOSFET transistor, which delivers the user 100 + watts PEP. Everyone wants more power on the radio to talk, you also might want high talking power. Or if you want someone to listen to you, and your radio’s power is not supporting. Don’t worry, we have an easy solution for our valuable customers. The SR-497HPC easily generates 100+ watts PEP in which you can do serious long talks easily.
Multiple Step Dimmer : Our best-quality dimmer allows you to fine tune how bright you want the backlighting and channel display. We were listening to your feedbacks over the past years, and now SR-497HPC brings the amazing dimmer circuit. Just press and hold the “color” button in until the radio dims to the desired level. You are no longer have the limits of high, medium or low. You can now lower the lights of your own choice by our dimmer function. For the certain lights, if your eyes are more sensitive in the dark, then this function is specially designed for you. This amazing feature is available in all of our 10 meter radios.
Heavy Duty AM Regulator : We’ve improved and upgraded the AM Regulator for increased reliability and better performance.
Digital Echo with/ Dual Front Mounted Controls : This provides an operator a vast range of effects and control, than a typical factory or aftermarket echo boards. Our board can re-built the human voice with virtually no distortion, providing extreme clarity and enjoyment.
Two Different Roger Beeps : Two different roger beeps can be selected in the SR-497HPC. These beeps can be controlled by just one switch – located on the front panel. This feature cannot be found in any other radio. First and foremost, roger beeps can be turned off when it’s not needed.
Variable Talk Back Control : The wicked talkback squeal/screech is almost removed with our SR-497HPC self-sufficient talk back circuitry. You can adjust the volume to the ideal level as operating conditions require. Now you do not have to turn down your microphone due to squeal and noise, which is the result of poor design. We the best talkback control system with no squeal, also whenever you want to talk-back you have to press a button and talk. There is no distortion and noise with this feature included.
Up-Armored™ Receiver : Our special and unique receiver shield is capable of working under even the worst scenarios and weathers. "Stock/No option radios" are usually less than 1 week.
"Custom/Modified" examples include LesComm Enhancements, Basic Clarifier mod, Amp Switch, Hi Cut Filter, etc. just to name a few. However if you add a lot of these small upgrades it could move your order to the "Major Custom" category. Normal turn around time for "Custom/Modified radio's" 10 to 20 business days depending on model. Depending on the difficulty of your build or the builds in front of it, this time could be longer.
"Major Custom" in this case means that you have added customizing options that requires significant modification(s) to the stock radio that takes more than 20 hours to accomplish. Like complete radio tear-downs and rebuilds as a different radio. Normal turn around times for "Major Custom Build radio's" 30 to 90 business days. Depending on the difficulty of your build or the builds in front of it, this time could be longer.
Radios are built AFTER they are ordered in the order of "payment" received. Depending on the difficulty of your build or the builds in front of it, these times could be longer. Remember, if you want changes made to your radio, those changes take time.
