Scan Function
The President Ted FCC brings FM capability to the compact CB market. The small footprint of the Ted makes it a great choice when you don't have a lot of space to sacrifice. The case size is smaller than the Uniden Pro510.
On top of FM mode, President has also added their ASC automatic squelch control that automatically adjusts the squelch setting to filter out unwanted noise. If you want to do it yourself you still get manual control as well. Pressing the channel up/down buttons simultaneously, both on the microphone and front of the radio, activates the scan feature to search out active channels.
