All connections to the radio are made from the TOP of the board. NO cut runs!Cobra 148GTL 2000GTL Uniden Grant 5pin XL XT Madison 5pin - Requires soldering adapters into channel selector and main board. Has a +10kc switch and a 3 position band switch which allows band selection exactly like the higher priced radio's if you swap the crystal with the one in the kit. The Microprocessor has a built in oscillator so changes happen lightning fast. LC35-192; This option upgrades your LC35-128 to an LC35-192. It increases your number of channels from 128 to 192 and uses a 5 position rotary switch instead of the toggle. NOTE! Must be ordered at the same time as your kit. Cannot be added later. . WARNING! "Stock/No option" means just that. These receive only a general tune up or minor mods like adding a CTCSS module, or doing the frequency conversion, etc.
"Stock/No option radios" are usually less than 1 week.
"Custom/Modified" examples include LesComm Enhancements, Basic Clarifier mod, Amp Switch, Hi Cut Filter, etc. just to name a few. However if you add a lot of these small upgrades it could move your order to the "Major Custom" category. Normal turn around time for "Custom/Modified radio's" 10 to 20 business days depending on model. Depending on the difficulty of your build or the builds in front of it, this time could be longer.
"Major Custom" in this case means that you have added customizing options that requires significant modification(s) to the stock radio that takes more than 20 hours to accomplish. Like complete radio tear-downs and rebuilds as a different radio. Normal turn around times for "Major Custom Build radio's" 30 to 90 business days. Depending on the difficulty of your build or the builds in front of it, this time could be longer.
Radios are built AFTER they are ordered in the order of "payment" received. Depending on the difficulty of your build or the builds in front of it, these times could be longer. Remember, if you want changes made to your radio, those changes take time.
